Oakes and Terry – Appoints Non-Executive Director

Penrith, Cumbria, 25th March 2008: Oakes and Terry announces the appointment of Thomas Nightingale to the Board as non-executive Director, with effect from 1 January 2008.

 Nightingale, who is currently chief marketing officer of Con-way, Inc. (NYSE:CNW), has spent his career aiding business-to-business service company commercial operations. His career spans a variety of international transportation companies over the past 20 years, including his current appointment at Con-way, Inc. since 2006. In addition, he currently also holds a directorship as president of the Transportation Marketing and Communications Association (TMCA).

 Announcing Mr. Nightingale’s appointment, Oakes and Terry Director, Dr. Kevin Lane, said, "I am pleased to welcome Mr. Nightingale to the Oakes and Terry Board. His international career and business-to-business services experience will be quite helpful and his appointment strengthens the overall mix of skills and experience on the Board. As an independent non-executive on the Oakes and Terry Board, Nightingale will join the business’ Nominations Committee.
